Lexington startup lands major funding round, plans to double its team

LEXINGTON — A fast-growing local software company announced a significant new funding round this week, saying the capital will fuel a hiring spree across engineering and sales.

Founders credited the region's universities and a deepening pool of technical talent for keeping the company rooted in Kentucky rather than relocating to a coastal hub.

The firm plans to roughly double its headcount over the next year and expand into new offices downtown.
